Young Art Promoters Artist Brief
We are looking to recruit an artist for the following project
Aims of the project
Spaeda, with the support of Somerset Art Works and The Octagon, will deliver a project which aims:
To establish the identity of the Young Art Promoters
To ensure young people have ownership of the project through a facilitative and consultative approach
To provide positive activities for young people to learn and practice social, physical, emotional and
intellectual skills.
To contribute to the community; belong to a socially recognised group; establish supportive social
networks of peers and adults
To provide a model for continued access to positive activities in visual arts and media that can:
attract both universal and targeted audiences
