6 DANCE & HEALTH SESSIONS

'small things' dance collective

Open to those interested in:

Improvisation
Non-stylised movement
Practices that support working in dance and health Having a cup of tea with others who share an interest

These sessions aim to continue and develop what began on the successful 'small things' three-day dance and health workshop in September 2009. This completed From Where You Are, a reserach and development project, funded by the National Lottery through Awards for All, Edge Hill University and the PH Holt Foundation. 'small things' plan to continue to develop this work and hope these sessions will provide an opportunity for, the sharing and development of movement practice and the building of supportive networks in dance and health.

"Personally I feel the work 'small things' have been doing is amazing and inspiring. There really is a need for more workshops to expand to a lot more places and to make people more aware of this work."
